PTLOM’s Front Entry XL keeps things simple. It has no lid and no corner-fitting shape, only a tall stainless steel pan made in one piece, with a low curved opening.

Tall PTLOM Front Entry XL stainless steel litter box, 13.7 inches high

It costs $129.99 and also appears on Walmart’s marketplace. That is usually a sign that a product sells in real volume.

We read the spec sheet, PTLOM’s FAQ and a broad sample of buyer reviews, both on and off the brand’s own site. Our goal was to learn what this box does well and where it disappoints.

One Piece of Steel, No Seams

The box measures 22.8 inches long, 14.9 inches wide and 13.7 inches tall. A 6-inch curved entry is cut into the front wall.

It is made from a single piece of food-grade stainless steel. Litter, urine and bacteria have no seam to hide in, unlike in a molded plastic box.

PTLOM says it suits cats and even rabbits of all sizes. The tall, seamless walls are the main point, because they are meant to keep litter from being kicked out when several cats share one box.

What Owners Report: Praise for Function, Grumbles About Price

On PTLOM’s own reviews page, 78% of the 809 reviews are five-star. A score like that is solid without being perfect, and the criticism is consistent rather than random.

One buyer with seven cats said it solved their mess problem, since the cats are now limited to one area. They found it easy to clean, said their cats like it, and felt it was a little pricey but worth the money.

Another buyer called it very pricey, yet said cleaning is so easy, it looks good and it will last forever.

A third buyer manages 22 cats across four PTLOM boxes. They said it is the perfect solution for large male cats in particular.

The main negative is about cost, not function. The same word, pricey, comes up from several different reviewers. Even so, they say they would purchase it again.

Rust Spots and the Plain-Water Rule

Rust spots turn up in a handful of reviews on Trustpilot and Walmart, where owners say they appeared after a while. PTLOM’s FAQ speaks to this directly.

Clean the box with plain water only. The reason is that cat urine is acidic enough to damage the coating once harsh cleaners are layered over it.

Day to day care is easy: a rinse with plain water does the job, with no chemical cleaners involved. Buyers say scooping and wiping the box down goes quickly, often taking only a few minutes.

Where It Sits in PTLOM’s Lineup

Within PTLOM’s own range, this is the cheapest high-sided open model and the least complicated one. It skips the corner-fitting design, which a few reviewers say is harder to scoop from.

Against outside competitors such as Yangbaga, it lands in a similar height and price tier.

    Who Should Buy It

This box suits homes with two or more cats, especially if you are tired of replacing scratched, smelly plastic boxes every year. Within PTLOM’s catalog, it is the simplest place to begin.

Clean it with plain water alone, and budget for the higher upfront cost. If a snug fit in a small bathroom matters less to you than easy scooping access, pass on the corner model.
