How We Review, Rate, and Rank Products
We start from the products people search for most, gather their published specifications and what owners report, and compare them side by side on the features that matter for each category.
A product card can show an AE Score out of 10. When a product has star ratings, the score is worked out from its star rating and how many ratings it has. Without ratings, the score is an assessment of the product’s published specifications and features for its category, made with the help of AI. Our editors can also set a score by hand, and that score is shown instead. The AE Score is not a lab result, and a card shows no score until one is available.
We update a list when we learn that a product has changed or gone out of stock, and we never accept payment for a better position.
