The Bionic Couture Edition caught our attention in The Electricianz’s current lineup. For the brand, it is the first timepiece designed specifically for women, and it belongs to the ELZ Lab line.

The price is $398. Production stops at 30 pieces, and no restock is planned.
We read the full spec sheet along with reports from current owners of similar pieces. The goal was to find out whether the price of a limited run holds up.
Materials and Construction
Measured across, the case is 42mm, and the dial opening is 34mm. That is small next to The Electricianz’s usual 45mm standard.
Its body is stainless steel topped with a white matte ceramic layer. That layer is mixed with a nylon sheath, and the pusher, bezel and crown are stainless steel too.
Hardened K1 mineral glass protects the dial, and it has an anti-reflective coating. Water resistance is rated at 3 ATM, which covers rain and hand-washing but not swimming.
A Dial Built Around Light
The dial has an electric blue base. A semi-transparent plate over it reveals five visibly colored cables.
On demand, four warm white LEDs illuminate the hour ring.
The brand’s patented lighting module, found in most of its watches, is used here too. On this model, the module runs fewer LEDs and gives off a softer color temperature.
Two Straps in the Box
Every Bionic Couture Edition includes a band of hand-made grey felt leather, which sits on a stainless steel pin buckle. A complimentary white rubber strap is in the box as well.
Most watches in this price range leave that second strap out, so it is a genuine bonus. You get one strap for daily wear and another for the gym or wet conditions.
Both straps are fitted at 20mm, so swapping in third-party straps later is easy.
Cautions Before You Buy
This exact model has no public review thread yet, because it is a newer, limited release. The brand’s overall track record is still worth weighing before you order.
Across independent reviews, The Electricianz scores 2.7 out of 5. Slow support responses come up repeatedly, as do strap durability concerns and LED or timekeeping faults on certain units.
Some reviewers also say their watch shipped from a Hong Kong warehouse, not from Switzerland.
None of these issues are tied to the Bionic Couture Edition itself. In fairness, the hand-assembled felt strap and the ceramic case upgrade the materials found on the brand’s entry-level nylon pieces.
Even so, check the fine print before ordering. The return window is 14 days, and a return also costs US buyers the duties and taxes they prepaid.
Our Verdict
For under $400, you get a distinctive women’s watch with a light that works, a pair of straps and a ceramic case. Within The Electricianz catalog, it ranks among the most thoughtfully specced pieces.
Keep in mind that the brand is young and works in small batches. The design is the draw, rather than a flawless track record.
