The DV-1S0019 has one of the most detailed listings in DeerValley’s catalog. We read its full spec sheet and installation manual, plus the complaint patterns tied to this line, to see whether the toilet justifies its $659 price.

Tankless smart toilet from DeerValley, model DV-1S0019, with a heated seat

    Build and Flush

A nano-glaze coating covers the ceramic bowl, and the seat is made of polypropylene. The design is tankless, one-piece and elongated.

Each flush uses 1.28 GPF (4.8 liters), the same efficient standard that most modern low-flow toilets meet.

    Cleaning and Comfort Features

Three wash modes are available (posterior, feminine and pulsating), and both the pressure and the water temperature can be adjusted. The nozzle is nano-antibacterial and cleans itself.

The extras go further. You get a heated seat that also has a warm air dryer, plus a built-in deodorizer with filtration.

There is also an automatic lid and foot-sensor control. An emergency flush keeps things working during a blackout.

Of everything listed here, the rough-in size deserves the most attention. A meaningful share of the negative reviews across DeerValley’s smart toilet line come from buyers who ordered the 12-inch version for a 10-inch space, not from a toilet that failed.

Check the rough-in measurement of your current toilet first.

    What Owners Report

DeerValley’s product page shows no star rating or review count for this model. That gap is worth pointing out instead of hiding.

So we turned to complaints filed with the BBB against the brand, along with retail reviews from third parties. Across the smart toilet line, buyers who install the unit correctly describe satisfying long-term use.

They name the heated seat, the auto lid and the bidet functions as standouts. Several even ordered a second unit for another bathroom.

The complaints are narrower than a claim that the toilet does not work. They cluster around three issues. Some installation kits arrived without a specific part, the flush is louder than that of a standard tank toilet, and in a handful of cases an advertised feature was not active on the unit that arrived.

On the service side, DeerValley replied to every one of the six BBB complaints on file. Five of them were resolved.

    Setting It Up

The DV-1S0019 comes with the installation manual and mounting hardware. The listing says it ships within 1-3 business days.

The product page recommends professional installation, and that makes sense. This is not a drop-in seat replacement.

It is a full toilet swap, and it needs an electrical connection nearby to power the heated and motorized functions.

If plumbing is not your strength, set aside money for a plumber on top of the unit price. Getting that step right avoids most of the installation complaints in the BBB file.

Where It Sits in the Lineup

Within DeerValley’s own catalog, the DV-1S0019 ranks a step above the entry-level DV-1S0029 for finish and quiet-close hardware. After discounts, the two cost about the same.

Compared with BCAN’s similar tankless models, the feature set is nearly identical. Price and current promotions tend to decide between them.

    Our Take

Want a fully loaded smart toilet at a price below $700? In DeerValley’s range, the DV-1S0019 ranks among the stronger options, with a heated seat, bidet wash, auto flush and blackout backup.

Confirm your rough-in size before you order. If you will not be doing the plumbing yourself, budget for a professional installer.
