Front view of an Aphyni 2x4 LED flat panel light fixture

Relighting a whole room means buying a lot of fixtures at once, so the value of each panel matters.

The Aphyni 2×4 LED Flat Panel Light 6-Pack costs $289.99 for six fixtures, each rated for up to 7,700 lumens. It is pitched at offices, schools and garages, and at anyone retrofitting an old drop-ceiling grid.

We reviewed the specs, studied what installation demands and read the buyer feedback on offer, to find out whether the price is justified.

    Specs That Matter

Each panel puts out up to 7,700 lumens, which works out to around 110 lumens per watt. Power is selectable on the same fixture across 30W, 40W, 50W, 60W and 70W.

Color temperature switches between five settings, from warm white to bright daylight:

    • 3000K
    • 4000K
    • 5000K
    • 5700K
    • 6500K

Some cheaper panels rely on choppier TRIAC dimming, but Aphyni describes this 0-10V system as smooth and flicker-free.

The input voltage is rated 120-277V. One fixture therefore serves both ordinary household circuits and 277V commercial lines, with no separate SKU needed.

    Ceiling and Install Notes

These panels are made for drop-ceiling and grid-ceiling installs. In an office or school, it is the standard 2×4 troffer layout that takes the place of older fluorescent fixtures.

According to Aphyni’s listing, the 6-pack includes mounting accessories. That means a straightforward grid swap does not require sourcing hardware separately.

Other ceiling types, or surface mounting in place of a recessed grid, call for different models, and Aphyni makes those as well.

    Buyer Feedback and Protection

Compared with the older flush-mount lights in Aphyni’s lineup, this listing is newer, so its review volume has not caught up.

Shipping, not the light, drew the mixed comments we could verify. One reviewer received a damaged panel even though the outer box looked fine, which suggests rough handling in transit instead of a defect in manufacturing.

Elsewhere in Aphyni’s range, its better-reviewed fixtures deliver the same flicker-free 0-10V dimming and multi-wattage flexibility. The specs here look consistent with those.

A damaged panel can be returned within 30 days of delivery, per Aphyni’s return window. At least some of its ceiling fixtures also carry a 5-year after-sales service guarantee from the company.

Versus Hykolity and Aphyni’s Smaller Panels

In Aphyni’s own range, this is the brightest 2×4 panel, and it also outshines the brand’s smaller 2×2 and 1×4 models.

Hykolity is the outside competitor that shoppers most often weigh against it. It sells a nearly identical spec sheet, with 0-10V dimming, selectable CCT and a similar wattage range, at a comparable price.

    Our Verdict

This 6-pack suits anyone refitting the lights in a garage, an office or a school room with a drop ceiling who wants commercial brightness. You get real dimming and color-temperature flexibility, and at under $50 per fixture, the pack goes a long way.

Look over every panel as soon as the box arrives, before anything goes up. Shipping damage was the only complaint pattern we found, never the light itself.
