Fans badly want some in-game accessories in real life, and the Pip-Boy 3000 is one of them. Plenty of replicas have appeared over the years, and Bethesda even released one of its own a few years back.
Of all the takes on the bulky wrist computer, the new Bethesda Fallout Pip-Boy 3000 Replica might be the closest to the real thing.
A Replica That Goes Beyond Looks
It copies the in-game accessory’s size and look. It also tries hard to reproduce the content inside.
Think menus, screens and even a game you can play. The result feels like a genuine Pip-Boy from the Fallout universe, inside and out.

Built From the Games’ Own 3D Models
Scale is 1:1 against the wrist-worn computer from Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. The team behind it says they worked from 3D models lifted directly from those games, to keep it as faithful as possible.
Bethesda made it in partnership with The Wand Company. That company is known for functional, detailed replicas of accessories from pop culture franchises.
Looks, Materials and Fit
Every visible detail is reproduced, down to the screen, the controls and the screws dotted across the housing. That lets you look as if you walked right out of Fallout’s retrofuturistic world. All you need is a matching vault jumpsuit.
Die-cast metal forms the front casing, which gives the face a premium look. The main body is cheaper injection-molded plastic.
It sits on your wrist with a memory foam cuff that has a molded plastic exterior. Included spacers let you adjust the size for a custom fit.

The Screen and the Software
A 4-inch IPS LCD panel can switch between two looks. One is the classic green UI from Fallout 3, and the other is the yellow-tinted interface from New Vegas.
The software reproduces all the in-game Pip-Boy content from both games. You can dig through hundreds of menus with the integrated scroll wheels and dials, and that alone could keep you busy for hours.
There is also a playable version of Atomic Command. You can enjoy the holotape game without launching Fallout 4 or Fallout 76.
Like the Pip-Boys in the games, this one is designed to glitch and flicker now and then. You fix it by simply hitting the device, since an accelerometer detects the hits. Fun.

A Stand for Showing It Off
Few people will wear this out and about every day, so it comes with a machined metal stand. Use it to show the replica off on a shelf or nightstand.
While it sits on the stand, it works as a very elaborate desk clock. It is a perfect companion for any Fallout fan.

Taking shortcuts with facts isn't an option when it comes to building real reader trust. I lean heavily into thorough planning and structural accuracy because I know how annoying it is to finish an article and still be left with unanswered questions.
