Living with cats means living with hair, dander and odor. The WISESKY W-Cat is an air purifier made for exactly that situation.
On WISESKY’s own product page, it has 82 customer reviews. Of those, 95% give 5 stars and the other 5% give 4 stars.
No one-star or two-star reviews appear on that page at all.
Our research covered the complete spec sheet along with several pieces of outside coverage, all to check that score against owner experience.
Filtration and UV-C Light
The W-Cat uses a 3-in-1 filter stack. A pre-filter catches loose hair first.
The second stage is HEPA, rated at 99.97% capture for particles as small as 0.1 microns. A third layer of activated carbon targets odor.
A 254nm UV-C light sits on top of the stack. WISESKY says it destroys 99.9% of airborne germs, and an automatic 120-minute shutoff is built in.
WISESKY’s site also cites an independent SGS test that puts cat dander removal at 95.3%. If dander is your real problem, that number tells you more than a generic HEPA rating.

Cat-Proofing in the Details
The fine print is what makes this look like a truly cat-specific design, not a generic purifier with a pet label added. Three details stand out:
- Chewing is less of a worry, since the cord resists bites and carries only 24V of low-voltage current.
- The grille over the air intake is spaced at exactly 7.5mm, so a paw cannot get stuck.
- The unit shuts itself off if it tips past 45 degrees.
That last feature matters in a home where a cat can knock over almost anything.
Through the app you get 9 fan speeds, a child lock, an ionizer toggle and a live readout of filter life as a percentage.
The rated coverage area reaches 1,644 square feet. Fan noise runs between 23dB at the lowest setting and 53dB at full speed.
What Owners and Reviewers Report
The 95% five-star split on WISESKY’s own site matches most outside coverage. Visible cat hair and household odor reportedly drop noticeably within the first few weeks.
One reviewer said the pre-filter was coated in a heavy layer of cat hair after only five weeks. That at least confirms the unit is catching something.
Complaints Worth Knowing About
The companion app is not listed on the official Google Play store. As a result, some buyers sideloaded it by hand, and that naturally makes people uneasy.
Another complaint came from a single reviewer, whose filter-replacement indicator never cleared after a new filter went in. The motor eventually failed too.
That is not a common thread across the reviews we found. Still, the lifetime warranty from WISESKY covers the unit itself in a situation like that.
Price and Rivals
Pricing varies by retailer and promotion. Listings we came across range from about $200 to about $290, so look up today’s price instead of assuming a set number.
Levoit’s Core P350 is cheaper. The W-Cat carries a higher price, though it brings UV-C sterilization that neither Levoit model has.
Levoit’s Core 600S-P is the pricier of the two. Placed beside it, the W-Cat generally costs less.
Who the W-Cat Suits
This purifier was designed around life with cats instead of starting as an all-purpose unit with an optional pet filter. Its safety features and focus on dander make a solid case for the price.
Be aware that the app may need a manual install. And hold on to your proof of purchase, since you may someday want to claim the lifetime warranty.
