Protecting a flat phone is easy. The curved 6.9-inch screen on the Galaxy S26 Ultra is a tougher job, because curved edges tend to trap air and a loose alignment tray can drift off target.
So we checked whether the AACL 3-pack, priced at $12, copes with it. Our sources were AACL’s own listing and one independent comparison of protectors.

Inside the Pack
- Three tempered glass protectors rated 9H
- One already seated in the alignment tray for your first attempt
- Two extras as backup, in case the first chips or the install goes wrong
AACL advertises the glass at around 0.26mm in thickness. The brand says its alignment system succeeds 99.99% of the time.
That figure comes from AACL itself and sounds bold, so we weighed outside opinion over the company’s marketing text.
Verdict From Independent Testers
One roundup, published on izreview.com, put this exact protector up against 8 other Galaxy S26 Ultra options. AACL finished 4th and scored 4.4 out of 5.
The reviewers said the alignment tool makes fitting quick and free of bubbles. That was the claim we doubted most.
Praise also went to the 9H hardness against scratches and impacts. Touch response stayed smooth, and the roundup judged clarity to be strong overall.
For $12, that compares well with protectors priced at double or triple.
The Trade-Offs
The roundup noted two compromises. One is coverage: the glass ends a little before the real edge of the display, so a narrow band around the perimeter stays bare.
That is intentional. AACL makes the glass narrower so it sits clear of the lip on most cases, instead of snagging on it.
The other compromise follows from that narrower shape. Heavy cases built for toughness can crowd the protector’s edge or produce a visible step.
With a case that has a raised rim, try the fit first. Do that before you use all three protectors on a curved screen this big.
Earlier AACL Models and Ailun
AACL’s older Ultra-series protectors share the tray-based alignment idea that the brand has relied on for years. The S26 Ultra version is resized and reformulated for the phone’s curve.
Ailun’s 3-pack for the same phone is the nearest outside match. The choice is a trade: a slightly lower price against a far bigger pile of public reviews.
Our Verdict
Under $15, this is a low-risk buy. You get 9H protection, two spare sheets of glass and an alignment tool that independent reviewers confirmed in practice.
Full edge-to-edge coverage is not part of the deal. Owners of rugged or heavy-duty cases should look at their case’s lip depth before ordering.
