Some people call the Wonder Oven a passing fad, much like the hype around the Stanley Quencher. Others insist the original is simply the best air fryer oven out there.
Whichever camp you belong to, the new Our Place Wonder Oven Pro deserves a look.
It is an improved take on the company’s original air fryer oven. You get a bigger cooking area, two extra functions and an all-new digital control scheme.
The heating elements are better too, which makes the Pro an overall upgrade from its stylish, popular predecessor.

Same Looks, Much More Room
The Pro keeps the stylish design of the original, with similar color options for people who like their appliances with a bit of flair.
It is much larger, though. Its capacity is 30L, the same as the Large version that arrived after the original.
That is roomy enough to hold an entire roast chicken, or a pizza that is 12 inches across. The extra space also allows three rack positions, which means more versatility and bigger batches.
In the box, you get a bake pan, an air fryer basket, a wire rack and a crumb tray, all in the large size.
Eight Functions and Touchscreen Controls
The original oven has six functions, while the Pro has eight. It keeps the original six (reheat, broil, toast, roast, bake and air fry) and adds proofing and dehydrating.
Simply put, it is more versatile than ever.
A touchscreen strip on top is the new control scheme. That makes it easier to fine-tune both the temperature and the cook time.
That should be a welcome change for anyone who found the original’s analog knobs a little too old school.

Faster, More Even Heating
The Pro now relies on quartz and stainless steel heating elements. These heat up faster and spread heat more evenly.
According to the company, the oven preheats 60 percent faster than its predecessor. It can also finish identical meals as much as 40 percent sooner.
The temperature range runs from 80 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and finer adjustments are possible for more precise heating.
Timer settings span 30 seconds to 24 hours. That suits slow jobs like proofing or dehydrating.

Size and Extra Features
The oven is 16.75 inches wide, 13.25 inches deep and 13 inches tall. That should be a good fit for most kitchen countertops.
Build quality is much like the original, with mostly stainless steel and glass.
The extras include:
- PFAS-free finishes
- a removable crumb tray
- steam infusion that helps food stay moist
- an interior light with automatic or manual control
- a convection fan tuned to run only when needed
