Snoopy is having a moment. The Peanuts crew has found new popularity in the 2020s, and Snoopy in particular has become a star on TikTok and Pinterest.
LEGO has clearly noticed. The LEGO Ideas Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse turns Charles M. Schulz’s classic cartoon into a brick-built display piece.
The set recreates one of the best-known images from the franchise’s 75-year run, with Snoopy hanging out by his doghouse next to Woodstock. It should suit longtime Peanuts fans, younger fans who found the characters on Apple TV, and LEGO collectors who enjoy sets built around iconic characters.

Two Characters You Build Yourself
You will not find minifigs in this box. Snoopy and Woodstock are both assembled from the LEGO parts that come with the set.
Both figures are articulated. They can walk, sit, turn their heads and strike plenty of other poses.
Snoopy even comes with two sets of legs that swap in easily, so you can match the leg style to the pose you want.
Both models are excellent builds. Snap-on plastic bricks capture the look of the original drawings well.
The Doghouse and Its Grassy Platform
Snoopy’s iconic red doghouse comes with a square platform covered in grass. That base makes it look right at home on a lawn or in a backyard.
The design lets you re-create classic comic scenes. Snoopy and Woodstock can sit, or even lie down, right on top of the doghouse, and the little building works as a prop for plenty of other setups.
Keep in mind that some of those poses call for a leg swap on Snoopy.

Typewriter, Campfire and a Starry Night
A typewriter prop comes in the box. It is there for the days when Snoopy is lost in thought and putting it all down on paper.
The set also includes a buildable open campfire. Snoopy and Woodstock can use it to roast marshmallows while they enjoy life outdoors.
The doghouse itself opens up to reveal interior walls decorated with a starry night sky. That scene makes a handy backdrop for the pair’s camping adventures.
For a cozy nighttime scene, put the campfire at the center of the grassy base and set the walls around it. Then seat the two friends beside the fire.

Size and Build Time
This kit is smaller than the typical LEGO set we feature here. It has just 964 pieces, so putting it together should not take very long.
In order of height, width and depth, the doghouse comes to 10 x 6.5 x 5.5 inches. That is large enough to serve as a fun decoration for Snoopy fans and for people who collect Snoopy merch.
We do not know how popular Snoopy is among kids, but we suspect they would love to help with the build. With a cute dog, a little bird and a doghouse in the mix, it could be a fun family project.
