Does a Custype kit actually live up to the brand’s own claims? To find out, we chose the Silver Edge Kit, the one with a stand built into the case. Then we read its full spec sheet and the wider pattern of buyer feedback for the brand.

Everything That Comes in the Kit
The Silver Edge Kit costs around $89. The case itself is vegan leather over a hybrid TPU and PC shell.
It comes in Green, Black and Beige. Compatible phones run from the iPhone 12 Pro to the 17 series, and that range covers the Air and Pro Max models.
The set contains the phone case, a detachable round pouch that is 3.85 inches wide, and a card wallet that holds 4 to 6 cards behind RFID-blocking protection. You also get an adjustable crossbody strap that stretches from 45 to 57 inches, plus a wrist strap.
Features and Protection
Wireless charging works with the case still on, something not every case in this category can claim.
The shell is rated by Custype for a 6.6-foot drop test. That is a reasonable level of protection for a case that also carries your cards.
The wallet’s size depends on your phone. For larger 6.7 and 6.9-inch phones it measures 3.9 by 2.6 by 0.5 inches, and for 6.1 and 6.3-inch models it measures 3.7 by 2.6 by 0.5 inches.
Either way, the footprint is compact and adds little bulk to a pocket or bag.
The built-in E-stand is what separates this kit from the other Custype bundles. It comes in handy if you often prop up your phone for video calls or hands-free viewing.
How Buyers Rate the Brand
We found no reviews written about this particular kit. Rather than invent quotes, we looked at how Custype is rated overall.
On Custype’s own reviews page, thousands of ratings average close to 5 stars. Trustpilot shows a smaller and more mixed sample.
Happy buyers keep mentioning the quality of the materials and how well the phone is protected. They also like that the crossbody wallet doubles as a small bag for quick errands, and several reviews speak well of customer service.
Returns are sent to China, so the top complaint is the expense and hassle of shipping an item back internationally. One report also described a delayed delivery followed by slow support.
Neither issue is specific to the Silver Edge Kit. Both are worth knowing about before you order any Custype product.
Who Should Consider It
If you want one case that covers cards, a phone stand and hands-free carrying, Custype’s lineup has no more complete single option than this one. You skip buying separate accessories.
It is not the cheapest kit in the catalog. It also does not ask you to give up any single feature.
Before you order, make sure you are buying from a verified source. Once the case arrives, a little maintenance will keep the vegan leather looking new.
Our Verdict
Judged on specs alone, the Silver Edge Kit supports Custype’s premium positioning better than we expected. We were impressed that the RFID-blocking wallet, drop rating and integrated stand all look like practical design choices instead of marketing fluff.
Our one real caution applies to every Custype order. Learn how return shipping works before you buy, and you will sidestep the complaint that comes up most.
