Picking a diaper means weighing softness, ingredients and fit, all for something your baby wears around the clock.

The Bamboo Diapers box holds the vast majority of Eco Pea Co.’s review history. It costs $99, or $89 on subscription, and it carries a 4.7 out of 5 star rating from 1,195 reviews.

We went through a broad selection of the feedback, along with the ingredient list and size chart, to see whether the reputation holds up.

    Materials and Ingredients

The top sheet is bamboo viscose. It was chosen because it feels gentler on skin than the plastic-based top layers used by most mainstream diapers.

Inside, the absorbent core pairs organic, EcoCert-certified bamboo pulp with a layer of super absorbent polymer. A thin aloe-infused strip is there to calm irritated skin.

Eco Pea Co. states that the diapers contain no chlorine, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde or added fragrance. The packaging is 100% compostable, and the brand prints it with water-based ink.

    Size Chart and Fit

Sizes start at Newborn, for babies under 10 lbs, and go up to Size 6, for 35+ lbs. A Newborn box holds 190 diapers, while a Size 6 box holds 108.

Fit is where the reviews stop agreeing. Several parents said the sizes run small compared with the chart.

Leg openings felt tight even on babies whose weight fell inside the listed range.

If your baby sits at the top of a size bracket, going up a size is the safer choice.

    What Parents Report

Positive reviews tend to cluster around three points: softness, absorbency and fewer rashes. One reviewer said the diapers feel almost like cloth ones because they are so soft, and that they held up against leaks too.

Another parent credited Eco Pea Co. as the single brand that never triggered rashes or allergic reactions in her child.

The critical reviews focus on fit and durability. A three-star reviewer flagged lots of blowouts, along with irritation on the belly, back and thighs.

Some reviewers on independent sites said the tab straps lose their grip against the textured outer layer. A few said the outer layer feels like cardboard when set beside softer, plusher brands.

    Against Other Options

Eco Pea Co. also offers a newer line called Cotton Enhanced. That line has only a handful of reviews, while the Bamboo Diapers have 1,195.

The bamboo version is therefore the safer first purchase if you are testing the brand.

Among outside competitors, the closest match is Kudos. It swaps the bamboo top sheet for a cotton one, and it tends to fit larger.

    Our Verdict

Choose these diapers if you want a documented, fragrance-free ingredient list and rash-prevention feedback from real parents. The large number of reviews gives that claim real weight beyond marketing copy.

Buy by your baby’s weight, and go up a size when your baby is near the top of a bracket. Expect an outer texture that feels firmer and less plush than premium mainstream brands.
